[Dailydrool] Heart Dog

[Brewer, Bunny (Lorraine B.) CIV NAVAIR]

I have been reading the Drool for 5-6 years now and have always wondered what qualifies a basset to be considered a heart dog?  And is this connected with the heart that appears on some of the pictures in the Daily Drool Desk Calendar?  It is not listed in the dictionary. Thanks, Bunny and Brewster Beanie in Maryland
