[Dailydrool] getting through

I have just returned from a 10-day trip (planned prior to all of the happenings with Rosie) and it was very healing for me.  One of the bright spots of the trip was getting to meet Suz and Holly Noelle.  Holly is a beautiful girl and I needed some basset love, which she gave freely.  Then, I discovered there was a basset puppy staying in the motel room next to ours, so I got some good basset puppy slurps there.  And finally, there was another woman at the motel who noticed we had dogs with us (I don't know how someone could miss seven shelties) and came up to me and started talking about her basset hound that had recently died.  Needless to say, the conversation lasted a while.  It's just kind of like Rosie is putting people, dogs, and situations in my path to help me heal.
It's tough coming back home to a house without Rosie in it.  She was such a large presence in our household - the momma dog to all of the others - and it's really hard but I know I will get through it with yours and Rosie's help.
