[Dailydrool] basset x shot in head and caught in trap needs help

There is a cute 2 yr old basset x mostly white with a red spot by its tail and red on face that needs a home ASAP.  Not sure if male or female. He was shot in the head but no brain damage. They think he was shot with a bow. His foot was caught in a trap and he has lost 2/3 of his foot. He is being seen by a vet but the shelter needs to move him. He gets along with other dogs but not cats. He is in a foster home for the Clarke Co shelter in Ohio. The dog warden has the mentallity of a fly. She wants to euthanize him becaus he does not get along with cats. She feels any dog that does not like cats should be killed. What century is this?? If you contact me i can send info and pics. There is a very over weight senior we are getting that is there.
