[Dailydrool] funny lumps

It is possible what you have found are his popliteal lymph nodes. On both
back legs on the backs about half-way between the rump and the hock, maybe a
little closer to the hock.
These, like all lymph nodes, swell in response to immune problems and
infection. Yours do too, altho I don't know if you have popliteal nodes or
not.
If that is what it is then it is indeed a good thing to have them examined.
