[Dailydrool] Carprofen & other meds

My vet used to write prescriptions for us back when my husband was out of work for an extended period of time

I remember an antibiotic that was over 100 dollars and telling her I just couldn't afford it. She thought it over and wrote the script and it cost eight bucks at the pharmacy. After that if anything costs more than I can afford I ask for and usually get a prescription for the pharmacy

> I just got a call from the vet as Mugsy has his eye procedure done this morning for his Entropion. He removed some of the upper lid & also tightened the lower lid (I can't wait to see how he looks). He said he thinks he will do just great. He has a lot of excess brow and skin so at some point, he may have to take out another fold but he wants to see how he'll do with this. AND he has to wear the cone of shame for a week. THAT ought to be fun! Thanks for all the drool.

It's $88 for a 30-day supply at the vet. Dang, that's more expensive than my monthly prescription. Someone did suggest to me to call my pharmacy & see if they stock that medication, and if they do ask my vet to write a prescription & have it filled there using my prescription drug plan. Has anyone else done this?
