[Dailydrool] Drool, Posion Control and OH--Trees!

Momma here--a tired one at that, but first and formost drool to all in need, we are hoping all of those on the downlow are doing better and know we are thinking of you all. 

Posion Control Center---yes, we have been there, but sometimes I think there is not much I have missed when it comes to doggie repair--when Brudder Elwood took a bite on a poisonous leaf and almost died a few years back, we were in the back room with Doc--he got on the phone, we knew who he was calling and hubby and I stood quietly as he made the call--as he was speaking he moved the phone reciever, held out his hand and said to hubby--credit card--okay--we had no idea at the time what he wanted the card for, hubby handed it over, he read off the numbers handed hubby the card back and kept on talking--when he hung up the phone, he said I just charged the 35.00 fee on your card, but we needed this since this leaf is in question and Elwood is so sick, this was faster and better  than any other way--he had the faxed material he needed in minutes, and I sure was thankful for any help, they made a case number, and with that fee, Doc was able to call back for any further info he needed. They even called to check on Elwood. Nice touch!!

Christmas trees---well now I know you would think that the Brudder would be involved with this one, but nope---Elder Clara. It was maybe year before last, we had the tree on the table-for very obvious reasons-all decorated with Cookies Famous Orneemts--(do you have them????order pawsforblossem at hotmail.com today--it helps Montana Basset Rescue)---and there went Clara--over to take a look. She took a look alright and pulled the table and the tree over on top of her. Balls bouncing, the old gal snapping at branches--it was a moment, I miss her so much.
The Christmas tree, small as it is, and I say this very cautiously---is the only thing you know who has not had much of a interest in.
Somehow I have a feeling I might regret those words----
