[Dailydrool] Chicken Jerky Treat Warning

Thanks for posting the warning about that particular brand of chicken jerky
again. For a long time, I had given these treats to my dogs until I read a
warning posted several months ago about this brand of chicken jerky, but
this post was because it's "made in China" and it was one of several food
items coming out of China that was toxic and had led to deaths of many,
many dogs. I stopped some time ago. I am an avid label reader now when I
buy any treats for the dogs. There are several brands of chicken jerky and
so far every one that I've seen has been made in China. You have to be
careful because sometime the label can be misleading. It can read that it's
from somewhere but in the fine print the actual manufacturer is China. I
don't buy any kind of treats from the Waggin' Train brand. And I am an
believer that it's because of the all preservative, by-products and general
"crap" that has been put into various dog foods over the years that's a big
reason why so many dogs these days are dying from cancer, liver disease,
etc. Looks what all the preservatives and crap have done to people over the
years! I don't care if I have to cook everything for my babies, they aren't
getting any of this junk.

Here's a good question, what are some good "Made in America", healthy, free
from crud, treats that people find for their hounds?
