I have resubscribed to the drool because of the Howliday card exchange, and while I never intended my post to Maggie about Fergus to be public (not the first time I made the mistake of hitting reply instead of starting a new email), I must explain that I know Maggie is crushed about this, and she did everything possible to deal with the situation. I also didn't realize the extent of the medical damage. I was just sad, also. It was supposed to be a private note, and we have since dialoged.
On a brighter note, I have a new toy for the hounds. Well, it is really for me, but the hounds are mesmerized by it. It is a tiny radio control astronaut. They just can figure it out. LOL LOL LOL.
I will be lurking, trying to stay out of trouble, riding the muddy paw mop. My new mission is to become a clean freak.
Jr. had a disappointing try at a costume contest. He was a shark, which was great, made everyone laugh, but there were at least two other sharks. I joked with another shark owner that we should school together, be a group costume, but she huffed off. There were some great costumes though, and I have a better and very original one for next year. Not only does it come with a free pin to the first 300 who want one, it has something to do with the astronaut toy I bought, and I have a whole year to learn how to fly it. If I were 10, I probably would have it down pat already...
Another costume contest tomorrow. I will see how his PIMP outfit works. Too bad I am not skinny and sexy.... no costume for me this year, but next year we are going to dress together. I have to hire a crafty sewer to make some adjustments to jr's.
Back to the mop and dust cloth...
Healing drool to all in need
