[Dailydrool] our snowstorm

yep, we got one yesterday here in central massachusetts.  it started 3 hours earlier than predicted and went on and on and on into the night.  the news said we's surely lose power and we did.  the house got very cold very fast.  
while in new orleans earlier in the month, i injured my sacroiliac.  consequently, i have not let gus sleep in my bed because my back made sleep so difficult that trying to contort around him was something i couldn't do.
until last night.  i knew with all the wind and snow blowing, and the house in darkness, he would be lonely on his chair instead of cuddling with me on the couch.  no tv, no lights, i went to bed and invited him in with me.
and my boy kept me so toasty that at one point, i threw the covers off to cool down.  and he was so happy to be back in mama's bed, he slept until 10AM, 2 hours after i got up!
so my boy saved the night, just like he saves my heart and soul everyday, regardless of weather.
