i want to thank everyone who donated to help with miss betty's  humungous vet buills!  much appreciated!!!

she is doing amazingly well at chez lema!  the old gal is spunky.  she feels the need to venture out every day for a constitutional or a trip to the dog park.  yes the park.  she loves it there.  who knew?!   the first time she ventured  forth she wandered in as tho she had been going to one all her life.  she stroll around & is now trying to play with other dogs.  play!  for a dog who was a stray for a very long time.    betty is learning to greet & trust people as well...she greets my friends nicely & does not shy away from them.

she enjoyed her bath (altho miss lowla was concerned she would use up all the bubble bath) & her eyes are healing nicely.  she has been introduced to peanut butter (oh boy!) frozen bananas (yum) & little blueberry treats...stand back or she will run you over.  


betty & buster have an interesting relationship.  he grumbles at her all the time.  the otehr night i guess she got tired of hearing it & she walked over to the dog bed he was sleeping on & peed on it after he grumbled.  yeah that pretty much put a stop to that issue.  you go girl!

she still has some healing to go but she is a sweety!  & will make someone a wonderful addition to their home.  

i just hope they don't grumble at her & adhere to her walky schedule & buy blueberry treats...ya know she has standards!
