[Dailydrool] eating dirt

Is excessive dirt eating due to a lack of minerals in the diet?

I feed Innova low fat kibbles to all 3 of mine.  They do not have a weight problem.

When we went to the zoo, the animal trainers talked about lack of minerals in the diet of the animals that leads to excessive dirt eating!!  Made me think of my basset, bassador and lab.  Slave Sue to :
