[Dailydrool] The Basset Survival Guide

I loved this book by Diane Morgan, in fact it was the book I read before I got Speedy. I read it and laughed and was convinced that I needed a basset hound. Then last year, I reread it before I gave it to my friend who had just gotten her basset. OMDog! The second time around I wondered what on earth possessed to think that this was a breed for me. Everything described was so true that I wonder at my judgement.

But I have to say, not one day that I got Speedy did I regret the decision to adopt him. He makes me laugh and distresses me on a stressful days. He has slowed down quite a bit but everyone once in a while he will be on his OEBE antics  which always not matter how bad it is ends up cracking me up.
