[Dailydrool] A message from Leanne

	Ok, you know I love basset hounds. I am asking for help for a pack of them right now who have heartworms.  Ten hounds total. They didn't come into BellyRubs Basset Rescue together, but they're all in need together there now.

	There's Jo-Jo  who was pulled out of a kill shelter in Jackson, Tenn., and has had her vocal cords cut, to boot, by a cruel owner to keep her from barking. There's Bailey, the basset/lab mix who BRBR pulled from a Georgia no-kill shelter that was caught killing the dogs they promised to care for. Bradley, who came from an East Tennessee shelter after his owners abandoned him. Buster who suffered a heat stroke on his way into the rescue's vet. Ernest. Clementine. Daisy Lu. Dazey. Bessie.

	BellyRubs Basset Rescue has been hit with a wave of heartworm-positive dogs in the last two months and it has put a drain on its funds. They need your help to keep fighting the good fight on behalf of hounds. Getting all the dogs treated will cost a lot of money: $500 per dog, $5,000 total. But if each of us chips in just $10 or $20, we can change the world for each of these hounds.
