Bug--what are you doing on the perch--my goodness it has been a busy day-Anna and Herbie coming, getting them settled--resting on the perch is just a must--get back down there on your cotton ball--fluff it up and pile in little one--
Bug?? Bug??? I guess I better take off my sleeping mask--Bug is having a fit-
Hold it.
What is this--whoa---legs--long ones--sitting right next to the perch--and a puddle--tears--my goodness-now if this isnt the strangest thing right here---
Sleeping mask off--and a large dog with LEGS right here at the perch---hmmmmmmm-----
Okay big boy---lets hear this--uh huh--name is Cyrus-arriving unexpected eh?? What--confused? Now let Elder Clara help here, we can solve it all here at the basset bridge, you know that dont you Cyrus???
Tell me more--had a basset family? Snoopy and Lulu?? Worried you say??  Left your momPerson-she is crushed??
Cyrus--please Clara knows all---Snoopy and Lulu will help Momma Dale and the girls-really, Snoopy is much smarter than you think--remember--you taught him, and he is teaching Lulu---these things happen Cyrus--and some times there is no reason, it is just time, but know this, Dale holds you so close, she loved you just as you love her, and just because you are now apart, that will never change-memories grow like flowers in a field, and soon, the tears turn to a smile, all those silly times will make them laugh and  walk down memory lane,you will be by the familys side but on silent paws------
Cyrus--you look confused---talk to me---Elder Clara is listening--cant decide on which bridge??? 
Ahhhhhh Cyrus--now that is no problem!!!! Elder Clara can solve this in a jiffy.
2007 Long Legger Lane-super cloud--just your size--but better yet, right next to the Field of Dreams--and across that field is the labrador bridge---Yes Cyrus--look hard and you can see Grandmomma momma Ellen--she will wave and you can dash over at any time--I bet there is a cloud there too for any time you wish to stay----

Oh Cyrus--a kiss of love for Clara--you are a sweet one arent you???
Now Cyrus--off you go--and know that time will take care of the rest--
Off he goes--those legs will have him there in seconds---
Cyrus is here, all is well, look to the sky and listen for a woof----the bridge is a wonderful place----

Bug--we have had quite a day----back to the perch-and the cotton ball-
