[Dailydrool] flooring

We will be removing a wall to wall carpet in our living room and replacing with some sort of dog-proof flooring. I'm considering cork, my husband bamboo. If  anyone has either of these floors, I would ask that you contact me off list at dzantrofski69 at comcast.net and let me know the pros and cons and whether you were happy with your decision or not. Its a pretty big room (14 x 22) so cost is also an issue. Thanks all!
