The vet can't just do a urinalysis.  He needs to send it to a lab for a
culture to see what kind of bacteria is growing.  In Conrad's case it is a
different kind each time.  After 3 or 4 cultures he will pick an antibiotic
that will work for all the kinds of bacteria he finds. So, what will help
Conrad may not help your girls. His last culture grew staph.  The next may
be something completely different.
