Momma here. We are home from the vet. Actually this is a two part story, but Bess comes first. Yes Doc had a smirk on the face as he said hmmm Bess stinks eh?? Yes Doc, she really does. Now he gets down on the floor and pets her and Bess was very good--but she also had a couple of those Composure calmers on board-she let him pet her, gain some trust, and he said okay where do you smell this most?? I pointed to her back, and here he went. He sniffed her from one end to another. Over the ears, down the back on to the feet, he sniffed, he parted her fur, sniffed, looked, sniffed some more. He says Hmmm. He looks at me and said, Debbie, do YOU have a very sensitive nose?? I replied well yes I do, he said how about hubby?? Oh not so much, but he did say also she does have a odor. He said, well I do smell a yeast smell, but really I think this could be your nose. She really just hardly smells and her skin looks good, coat is nice, I am thinking she might have some yeast there, but I think this is maybe just kinda you Deb. I had to laugh, I said you know you and I go back a long ways, a good 25 plus years-we have had our moments at each other, but he was enjoying this one. He gave me some shampoo and said wash the dog, give her yogurt, and lets see if she smells better, some dogs have odors and it could be she needs more time to work out old issues.
So I brought Bessie and my special snooter home. We will see!! Geez, is it me??
So tonight was waiting room growl night, my heavens the place was packed with BIG dogs, all snarling at each other. You know, that really gets on my nerves as too many times folks just are not cautious---or my other RANT is a dog at the vet or other places, with a leash attached to a collar that is ohhhhhh 3 times too loose and the dog slips out. The owner will always go--oh my how did that happen??? How did that happen--my DOg the collar could of fit the dogs chest and still been loose---and you ask how did this happen???? I really like a slip leash or collar for times like this, it keeps control in my hands, not putting someone at risk.
Okay that is it from the Beach,

Drool to all in need!!
