[Dailydrool] Gender, OEBE and Ahroooooo's

Hi all, Cyrus here,

First off the gender thing.  I'm a boy, Snoopy is a boy.  We love each other 
VERY much.  Now that doesn't keep us from tussling but it's mostly play.  It's 
been a year on Wednesday and we have not injured each other and we're home alone 
for hours frequently and we're not crated or separated so .... seems like we're 
fine.  We're both rescues so it took Snoopy QUITE a while to determine that 
everything is fair and even at our house and you don't need to check, growl, 
lung, guard, ahroo because no matter what you do or don't do, momPerson will be 
fair and even, with snuggles, with food, with walks, with her love .... yup, no 
need to compete.

I have heard from a large number of people that their bassets don't ahrooo. 
 Mine ahrooooos more than he barks.  In fact, he mostly ahrooooos.  For those of 
you who don't have a hound that ahroooos .... an ahroooooo is VERY loud.  Like 
gunshot loud.  Did I mention I was gun shy and that's why I got dumped at the 
pound.  Gun shy hunting dog meets hound dog that sneaks up UNDER him and out of 
no where goes AHROOOOO.  Yeah.  That took some getting used to.

About this OEBE thing .... I'm on a mission to get him kicked out.  Yesterday 
Julianne went to take a shower and he pushed her out of the way and jumped in 
there first ... I SWEAR.  momPerson's been a bit busy and she's been keeping up 
with his weekly ear cleaning but she skipped the bath this week and so he made 
Julianne do it for him.  Does insisting on your bath get you kicked out of the 
OEBE?  And another thing.  Our Curator of missing objects here got a hold of one 
of dadPersons cough drops and momPerson caught him and opened up his mouth and 
took it out ..... and he let her.  Can he get kicked out for that?  Can he?  Can 
he?  Can he?
