Hi all, PW Harley Chick here.  Friday will be my 11th year of living here. 
I will be 12 in December.  You can see my picture on the July 8 calendar 
page.  I am the beauty on the lower right.

So last night the parents came home late from fireworks.  I'm not afraid, 
and neither are my brother or sisters.  Fred is a wuss though over thunder 
and Pippi is his apprentice.  I digress.  Mom heard me complaining and 
thought I was just doing my usual Elder Clara impression.  Mom let us out 
then back in.  We all lined up at the watering hole for our nightcap when 
Mom noticed red spots on the floor.  There had been a wart (oh, how 
embarrassing) on my eyelid and the vet had told Mom that it might break off. 
Well, that's what it did last night.  There was much blood.  Mom cleaned my 
face and I once again look beautiful this morning.

>From South Dakota, to a NJ mall pet store, to Mom's boss, to home, I've come 
a long way baby!  And to think, Mom didn't even like bassets when she 
adopted mememe in 2001.
