[Dailydrool] Heartworm meds

We have used Interceptor for a long time when it became unavailable the vet switched us to Vethical (monthly chewable) for heartworms, roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms. We also use K9Advantix II for fleas. We live in SoCal(Hermosa Beach) and there are fleas and although heartworm is not in the immediate area that we live in it has some local pockets. We also travel with the dogs so the protection is worth it. The boys have always been fine with the meds.  We stop the topical flea prevention during the winter but use the Vethical year round with testing every 6 months.
