[Dailydrool] Deramaxx

Someone posted to the Drool that she was giving her dog 50 mg of Deramaxx twice a day.  Our Flash is also on Deramaxx and has been for several months due to pain from a calcified disc in his neck.  Our vet also put Flashy on 100 mg, but stressed that it be given only once a day, at any time of our choosing.  I remember that I asked, "Not twice a day?  Only once?"  Yes, only once.  I give it a little before bedtime because I want it to give Flash an easier sleep (although I have no way of knowing if it does).  It seems, thank God, to be keeping the pain at bay.

I also purchase it in the mega-size pill which needs to be broken into four because it's so much less expensive this way.  We pay $ 144.00 for a hundred tablets and they last for four months.
