[Dailydrool] bassets: the great protectors (not)

Debbie, I feel your pain. We were burgled 6 years ago and neighbours reported hearing no noise from our house at all. Most likely Morse slept through the entire thing, or possibly looked up indignantly as the burglars made noise hoisting furniture about, ransacking drawers and fleeing with jewellery and cash.
