[Dailydrool] Speedy had a special day

[Speedster]

Today was the Basset Hound Olympic Games in Arcadia Park. I ditch work because I have missed the last 2. I decided only to take Speedy has he is the Basset and taking foster Peggy and Rambo by myself would be way too much. 

So off Speedy and I went. We had fun although we arrived late. We watched the customs and the raffles and best of all Speedy and I got some alone time.

It has been years since Speedy and I got to do something together. Rambo just can't handle being alone but since Peggy was with him we got to spend the entire day out. I took him to the pet store and then we hung out in the park. We both took naps. It was a wonderful bonding time for us. I have to say we both enjoyed our time by ourselves. Maybe we should do it more often.
