The basset rescue community has suffered the loss today of a tireless
advocate for homeless hounds.  Phillip Guinn, the Founder of Ozark
Mountain Basset Rescue, Inc. and beloved daddy to bassets Jake, Maxx
and Myrtle passed away peacefully today, at age 64, after a short
illness. He was an angel of mercy to hundreds of bassets over the past
12 years. We will miss him.

Phil's own bassets are safe and will be loved.  If you have questions,
