Sounds like you will need to set up a small x-pen for poor Maggie in the
main living area, then paper the floor under it with puddle pads every day
and keep your fingers crossed.  I know from experience with our Gracie just
how hard it is to have one with a suddenly not useable leg.  Whatever you do
Marlene, do NOT try the towel-under-the-chest thing to help her walk, I did
this for a few days with Gracie and nearly killed both of us several times
by getting off balance and falling.  We will be sending drool for Maggie and
will keep you and Bill in our thoughts, hopefully she will respond quickly
to the rest and Tramadol.
