Hello all, it's Cyrus,
I am home again from spending the whole day at the vet. Fairly dramatic. Well,
you know momPerson. I had a few, shall we say, incidents. Where I crouched and
then went to stand up and froze. Ok, ok, so the one time I fell over onto my
side and screamed in pain and wasn't able to get up for several minutes but
otherwise I was simply splendid. Clearly momPerson overreacted.
In the final analysis the doctor had the unmitigated audacity to assert that it
was possible that I, at a spry 8 years of age, might be aproaching the end of
the span of years in which I can sprint and leap after a ball for hours without
having a twinge here and there as a result. I assure you this nonsense was the
main substance of her hypothisis as regards the aforementioned.
After countless, xrays, readings, tests, consultations and discussions among
experts in the subject they determined I have mild arthritus in the small of my
back and might not want to play ball like an idiot for hours anymore. If I do
I am not to go for a long walk later, nor am I to do it multipe days in a row,
as this combination has in all cases lead to an "incident." They also
lightened momPerson by some $500. Definately clueless. And then I went home.
Thank you for all your drooling, apparently as a result I do not have some
horrible maliday. Apparently my issue is normal .... "at my age."
Sincerely,
Cyrus
with the clueless momPerson (what is this "at your age" stuff? the doctor has
started using that on me too ... all this running "at your age")
and Snoopy (I missed him, I love him, I was all over him and still haven't
forgiven momPerson for taking him)
and LuLu (I slept on the couch the whole time, they wouldn't dare come home
without him)
