  My Drool reader is just catching up on posts after a brief hiatus due to human flu. Excuses.
Dear Edmond Dawd: Here at PBF headquarters we use "Have-a-heart" traps under the kitchen sink and on the front porch to capture rataliban and mousenary operatives. Then we deport them to the hinterlands of civilization. Just this week we have relocated three mousenaries (one of whom had gnawed through wires in our never working dishwasher). I recommend this technique. Your human screaming might prove a problem, but otherwise I foresee no difficulty. Traps are available at most hardware stores. Semper fido.
