[Dailydrool] getting comfy

Hi, Droolers!  I enjoy reading about your bassets trying to get their bedding "just right" before they can fall asleep.  I'm reminded of Raymond's activities before he was able to doze off.  He spent a good deal of time bunching up his blanket til it was practically wadded up, then straightened it out enough so he could use it as part pillow/part mattress.  It was an amazing bit of activity which he did before each nap and every night.  I can still picture him "getting ready for bed" - and it was an amusing sight.  Sounds like a lot of basset hounds adhere to his procedure, also.  They're such entertaining individuals, aren't they?  Thanks for keeping me up-to-date on all your "kids," and I hope it won't be too long before we have our own basset again.
