You know, Dale, if Gracie is actually 2 or less, the Brown Truck may not
have delivered her big-girl brains yet, quite often Bassets get their brains
as late as 3 years.  (Of course some never get their brains, but we won't go
there!!!)  In other words, she's feeling good enough and safe enough to act
like a buppy...and we all know what THAT means...chewing anything and
everything and tearing up stuff and in general being a stinker.  Maybe when
you all leave the house you should gate her in a bathroom or the kitchen or
some other room that you have child (buppy) proofed.  Chances are she'll
outgrow the destructive behavior in 6 months or so.  Oh my.
