Bill here, press agent/personal trainer to Miss Angela Basset,
Droop and Drool Diva of Wichita and Sedgwick County

Elsinore, we salute you. While Angela is only 10, she is showing
some of the same signs of advanced age that Elizabeth describes
on you. It looks, distinguished, dahling. Angela is now thinking
'about the title Dowager Diva to denote her experience and her
sense of entitlement. She is happy to hear that you have gotten the
sleeping arrangements all straightened out in a way that doesn't
antagonize Rev. Ken and that makes her happy. Angela sleeps
wherever she pleases, starting the night in the dog bed beside
my bed, then moving between the couch, the futon in the office,
the recliner and probably a few places I haven't noticed yet. I can
hear her nails clicking on the hardwood floors as she moves
between sleeping areas. Right now, she is stretched out on the
futon, supervising correspondence through her eyelids and taking
her pre-supper nap.

Angela played hostess to a couple of grand nieces for an egg hunt
on Sunday morning. She sat back and watched while the girls
squealed and ran around the house picking up plastic eggs filled
with candy. No real candy within dog reach.

One reason that Angela was so calm Sunday morning was that
she had been worn out on Saturday night. She played hostess
to folksinger Mary McCaslin who is a basset person and once was
slave to Hannah and Otis (both ATB). Mary was playing at the local
folkie venue (Iron Horse Concert Hall in El Dorado) and , knowing
that she is a basset lover, Miss Angela went to give her a chance to
get in her snooter kisses and ear skritches. Lots of good lovin'.

Well, nap time again. We got worn out rooting for the Kansas Jay-
hawks, Kansas State Wildcats and Wichita State Shockers in the
NCAA men's basketball tournament. We are primarily Jayhawk fans
but are now pulling hard for the Shockers who surprisingly made it
all the way to the Final Four. We'll be ready to cheer them through.
Go Shocks.

Bill (rainy and cold-good, it'll delay the first lawn mowing)
Angela (you may want to step carefully. I left you some presents out there)
