[Dailydrool] What age does howling start at?

No sooner had I sent my last post than I thought of something. We know Horton is a bit over a year old but have no birthdate for him. I was wondering if we could get an angle on his age by the time when he finally decides to howl.

In Drool experience, how old are bassets when they begin to howl? I have an idea that our Jane may have started at about a year and a half. Is that the experience of others too?
