[Dailydrool] Splenectomy

Last April my Milly had to have an emergency splenectomy.  A tumor on her spleen burst and Milly was having internal bleeding.  The first thing the ER Vet did was an ultrasound for a good look at the tumor and to see if the tumor has spread.  After the ultrasound and some chest xrays oh and the bloodwork the Vet decided that there was no spreading and that the remaining masses did not appear to be cancerous.

After my consent they wisked sweet 12 year old Milly to the OR.  I  recieved a call 2 hours later that Milly was doing great and that they sent the mass/spleen  off to be biopsied.  The biopsy did come back benign :)

Milly stayed at the ER Vet for 3 days before I was allowed to bring her home. Milly is still doing great and is now  the happiest hound I have ever had.

It was expensive but worth every penny. Thank doG for Credit Care!

Best of luck to Bobo.
