We have lots of little lizards in Florida and they provide a lot of entertainment for my Bassets. And for me also. I love to watch them play. They hunt them, then catch them and gently bring them to a nice play area - the deck or in the house where they herd them to play hide and seek. The funniest is when the lizards are refusing to move and the hound lays down with its nose nearby and pretends to be asleep. Or they will turn their nose away from the lizard, as if they are not interested, hoping the lizard will make a run for it. Actually the funniest was when my perfect little Ophee (ATB) would knock the lizard with her ears and it would chomp onto the edge of her ear flap. She would then walk around with the lizard hanging on like an earring. I loved her so much when she did that. I have a puppy, 6 months, who has just started with the lizard games. They all play the same way although so far Ophee has been the only one to actually wear them.
