[Dailydrool] LuLu's birthday

Hi all, it's Snoopy here.

Yesterday is LuLu's birthday and tomorrow is LuLu's "offical" gotcha day.  She 
came to live with us in February 2012 though so I never know which day we should 
party.  We've been partying all weekend.  the clueless momPerson earned her name 
yet again.  I'm not kidding.

First of all she left real earty and went and ran 16 miles cause she's in 
training and came back stinking to high heaven of other dogs cause she's been 
doing elevation training and she stops and plays with someone's dog every other 
mile to get her energy back (now I've heard every excuse there is for walking 
instead of running during a training run).  And then she said she was going to 
take LuLu to the fancy treat store in downtown Los Gatos and LuLu got all 
excited.  She forgot momPerson was clueless.  You see, momPerson thought it 
would be a treat to take LuLu down in her "other" car.  momPerson has a Honda, a 
"kid cart" as she calls it for hauling the girls and us around town.  And she 
has her other car too, her special car.  It's a two seater sportster and she 
took LuLu downtown in that and scared the ever living bleep (thanks moderators) 
out of poor LuLu.  Apparently LuLu drooled all over the leather interior and the 
wood trim and momPerson isn't sure she can wipe it off because it's supposed to 
be good luck.

LuLu pranced into the fancy store and was ooooohhhh'd at and awwwwwwww'd over 
and she picked out one or two of EVERYTHING and a new lead and new stuffies for 
us all and spent a kings randsom and then came home.  When she got home I wanted 
to sniff the treat bag and she thought not and I persisted and a scuffle ensued 
...... and she knicked my ear, she really did and I BLED ..... there was blood, 
I nearly fainted, I went into shock ..... and the clueless momPerson cleaned my 
ear and said it wouldn't even leave a scratch and was nothing and now I knew how 
Gracie felt .... well ... I don't make Gracie BLEED I was maimed I tell you 
...... but I checked too (long ears) and I cannot find the mark either but there 
MUST be one because I saw blod, I'm telling you.

We're still trying to finish all the peanut butter pup cakes and the birthday 
cup cakes and the cookies in all shapes and sizes and I got a new squeaky Kuala 
that I just love and carry everywhere and Gracie got a caterpiller and LuLu got 
a new lady bug and there is london broil jerky too ..... the thing with LuLu, it 
was all just a misunderstanding, we all ate peanut butter pupcakes with our 
snooters an inch apart about an hour ago.

LuLu is now 7 and you have to give an old woman some space I guess.  Last night 
Gracie and I slept with our spines pressed into each other at momPerson's feet 
and left the pillow for LuLu, sometimes it's better ro let the birthday girl 
have everything her way.
