[Dailydrool] met a beautiful Basset yesterday...

Hi all, haven't peaked in for so long here.....but yesterday while outside a couple was walking their daughter's basset.  Are there other alternatives for temporary care other than a Basset REscue? Not a boarding facility, but maybe a private home where this lovely little girl could be cared for while her owner is in another state for a year?  Possbile solutions?   Please let me know.
