[Dailydrool] Bounder Floyd ATB 4/1/2013

Wen,
I am so sorry to hear about Floyd going to the bridge.  I know you don't
think he got over being dumped by his family, and that very well may be
true, but I am glad that you were willing to give him a safe place to be
where he got good care and love despite his idiot family.  I guess this one
really touched my heart because our first rescue was a 7 year old basset
named Elwood.  He had a great family until his parents got divorced.  Then
his dad got remarried and the new wife said me or the dog.  We lucked out
on that deal.  It was a hard adjustment because Elwood's dad worked second
shift and we go to bed early and get up early.  We had two older dogs at
the time and we discovered that Elwood was a ":helper" dog.  He LOVED
having other dogs around him and eventually raised two puppies for me.

I hope Floyd finds friends at the Bridge and is finally happy.  You did a
wonderful thing by giving him a place to be after his family deserted him.
 I wish people would get a clue and not do that.  I will pray that your
heart heals and the dogs send heart healing drool.
