[Dailydrool] Red Armpits

Well,  I will probably get my butt chewed out for this one,  but  Annie had 
a cyst removed a couple years a go from her armpit,  she gets  really red 
and irritated in her arm pit and down the inside of her leg,  my  old vet 
told me to use diaper rash medicine on it and I did and it cleared right  up,  
but my new vet about went swinging off the ceiling when I said I use  
desitin on her armpit,  He doesn't want me to use it because of the zinc in  it, 
which can cause a dog to be anemic.  so I didn't use it for a while and  
nothing that my new vet gave me worked,  medicated powders, antibiotic  creams, 
so guess what, I went back to the Desitin , I rub it in real good which  is 
hard because it is like a thick paste,  but in two days she was  completely 
healed up, she has a really hard time licking that area any  ways,  just try 
to lick your armpit  LOL
 
I also know of another drooler who also uses the desitin on their Bassets  
armpit and has great success with it.
or you can use gold bond powder  I actually think they make it in a  roll 
on like deodorant now also
