 Hi Riche,
    My friend Susan, who has 10 dogs and a graveled dog yard recommends distilled vinegar put in a garden sprayer attached to your hose like  you use for fertilizer.  She swears by it!  Very safe.  I used distilled vinegar to mop the floors and clean the whelping box whenever I had puppies.  Good Housekeeping did a study on white distilled vinegar and found it killed as much bacteria and viruses as bleach but without the dangeous side effects.
