[Dailydrool] Basset who was burned in CA

Hi all, 

 

On the local news tonight there was an item about the Delgados and the dog,
Buddy, who was set on fire by the owner's son.  Previously, the son had pled
"not guilty" but has changed his plea to "no contest" which essentially
means that he is not challenging the finding that he did it, but not
admitting guilt (usually done to avoid civil penalties.) In light of his
change of plea, there will be no trial, and according to the news report,
sentencing will occur next week.  

 

I'll keep watching the local stations for more info on the sentencing.
Here's hoping Buddy gets a little bit of justice after his terrible end.
