BARNI posted an item on facebook about tips for making older dogs more
comfortable. Number 3 is: help your pet avoid falls. Hardwood floors, tile,
and other slippery surfaces become difficult for old dogs to navigate.
Consider using non-slip throw rugs in frequently traversed areas. Booties
are another option to help the dog get better traction.

I have a 15 almost 16 year old basset hound and getting him booties is a
great idea. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what kind to get or where
to purchase from?

Thanks,
