Goodness, look at the dust, star dust Elder Clara is sure, but what a mess, Bug, lift up the cottonball bed there, I will get the broom under there-my goodness Bug, now that is a pile of crumbs you have, those midnight snacks you so enjoy sure do make a mess!! Yes, Bug we have incoming, we must be ready, you know we like the gate clean. What?? You see him coming?? Okay, now you know how we roll here, open the gate.
Buddy. Now now, Buddy welcome, come on in!!! Hmmm walking a bit stiff, Elder Clara will take care of this. 
Buddy, now no growling at Bug, it is all good here you know, plop on down, let have a talk. Tell us abut yourself Buddy.
Really?? A permanent foster eh?? Okay, Buddy, we understand we see this a lot, but why so grumpy? Stand up, kick out those back legs, see how they work now? Try a smile on the snooter, I bet you will be surprised, see??? It all works again, no more legs being stiff, no more lifting of the lipperflaps, see how nice that feels???
Tears? Buddy, why are there tears rolling down the snooter?? Awww-you want everyone in the rescue to know how you cared for them??
Buddy we do understand, it is never easy to get the dump, but put that in the past, look at all the good the rescue did for you, why you had love, they cared so for you, and even when bone money was oh so tight, they provided, and made sure you were fine. Remember those special bones that they gave you? Yes of course we know these things, don't look so surprised--we have a pile of them just for you over at the buffet-and a star so bright over on Rescue Road-91244 is your new location mind you-that you will love. Your gift back to the rescue of Puget Sound will be to know you are here, know that you are okay and running free, enjoying things with a smile. Can you do that Buddy????
