[Dailydrool] Involuntary Peeing Info

Ok, what to title this post? My sister mentioned in passing today--we were talking about her dogs going to a pet sitter while her family went on vacation--that Ginger, her dachshund, is now on some kind of estrogen medication. They had a really hard time with her. She would submissive pee if you tried to pet her, she had lots of UTIs, and she had lots of accidents. For years and years. My sister (who is a pharmacist, but is also just like me and hates to take very many meds, or give pets very many), said it is a once a week capsule she puts on her food, because she is horrible to pill. She is a typical doxie and a little terror, but this medication totally solved a lot of problems with the peeing. I just thought if anyone was struggling with this, they could ask their vet about it. They are leaving for Cabo tomorrow (totally jealous), but I can get you more info when she gets back, if anyone needs it.
