Hi Angelika,
  yes. here's the plan? everyone who has made a Basset item, or has one they would part with for the greater good, list that item on Houndsbay the last week of November and first week of December with  proceeds to go to the rescue of your choice. there are a number of small rescues that could really use a hand, (and no doubt some larger ones too). some of the smaller rescues that would love a helping hand and have declared themselves eager designees include San Diego, Florida, Western Missouri, BARCSE, and Basset Buddies. I know there must be others too who haven't piped up yet. To find Houndsbay and it's instructions, go to the main Drool website and click on the heading Houndsbay.
  I've sent a batch of terrific Basset fabric 12 inch quilt squares off to WMBRI and am counting on Chris to list them since the computer and I do not get along very well.
