[Dailydrool] Pat Benstein ATB (long)

Basset Rescue lost a beloved member yesterday, October 8th, When Pat 
passed due to a massive stroke.
We are all heartbroken, Pat was one of the most kind, caring people I 
ever had the pleasure of meeting.
She founded Spokane Basset Rescue in 1998, we were fortunate to be one 
of her first adoptive families,  She changed the name to Washington 
Basset Rescue, and went on to save and adopt out hundreds if not 
thousands of our beloved bassets.
She was always there with a shoulder to lean on, she was a dictionary of 
basset wisdom and advice, a generous and caring heart.
We are all devastated as we have lost a beloved member of our basset 
family, and someone I truly called Aunt Pat as she was part of our 
personal family from the moment she drove up in her subaru with our 
first adoption, Pw Freckles in 1998.
She had that ability to match basset to family, when our beloved Pete 
needed ortho surgery, she took him home for several days to watch over 
him as we live so far from the surgeon.  That kindness was never taken 
for granted and will be missed.

Godspeed Aunt Pat, I know you are with our beloved Creator, and all 
those that have gone on before us, watching over family and our 
bassets,  Until we meet again, We Love you
