Try giving the antacid JUST as she goes to bed instead of before. It sounds
as if it is wearing off early and she wakes up hungry.
My dogs do this also periodically, but it isn't the food, it's the dog and
his or her own private digestive system.
AND
give a couple of dog biscuits JUST as he goes to bed. It can't hurt and it
might work.
