[Dailydrool] Cowboy update

Cowboy is doing well but is sick and tired of wearing a stupid t-shirt to
protect his surgical site and drain. We are hoping he'll get the drain
removed tomorrow, so he can enjoy the howliday weekend. The little kid's
shirt he was wearing became so gross and smelled terrible so I dug out the
smallest shirt I could find from some old tees I still had from college. He
looks hilarious now wearing a tight little t-shirt that says, "This is my
pot smoking shirt." Lol.

He went on a super short mini-block walk yesterday and then totally got his
spunk back last night, howling at us and running around like a wild child.
We did our best to chill him out, but he is definitely ready for some walks
and playtime.

Between stitches across the width of his chest, and a few in his thigh
where a small fatty tumor was removed, he still looks like a
franken-basset, but it is so refreshing to hear his sweet demanding howl
and see him with some energy, after watching him sleep all week and seem
miserable.

Drool to all and to those in the US, have a safe and happy 4th!!
