We are so sorry to hear that Eddie has gone to the Bridge.  We have had
quite a few dogs die of congestive heart failure, in fact that's why I
changed from Dachshunds to Bassets, it is a very depressing disease to deal
with.  You and the vets do your best, but there really isn't much that helps
long term.  The good thing is, poor old Eddie is now at the Bridge, running
and playing and feeling good again.  And eating his way through the buffet.
All of us here send you and yours lots of hugs and lub and soft snooter
kissies, and we hope the good memories take over quickly.
