[Dailydrool] Another Rupert Episode and Rescued Beagles

So, Rupert had another episode last night, but I'm not convinced that it
was a seizure. We went for a walk and about 3 blocks into the walk he
stopped and his back end including both hind legs "seized up". It was like
he was flexing them but couldn't relax them, so he stood there with his
hind legs quivering. We tried to coax him to sit down but he wouldn't.
Finally James picked him up, and I was going to walk back to the house to
grab the car. So James set him down, and only then did he sit down also.
His muscles still felt taut and he began panting. It was probably about 85
degrees out still so not sure if the panting was from the heat, from pain,
or from something else. We both sat there for about 2-3 minutes and then he
stood up and was fine. He pranced along the rest of the walk, showing no
signs of distress. His back end felt tight though for the remainder of the
night and he just laid around snoozing, although that's not unusual, lol,
so it's hard to know.

Last time he had the episode, it started with the seized up/quivering legs,
but then he fell over sideways and seemed "out of it" mentally. That
tipping over and losing consciousness part didn't happen this time, so I
have no clue if this is related. Next Wednesday 5/21 is his 6 year gotcha
day anniversary and the day we will celebrate his 8th birthday. He'll
officially be a senior. Any thoughts on this quivering hind legs incident??

Also, a friend shared this video with me of 9 damnbeagles who were rescued
from a research lab and shown sunlight and grass for the first time. I
found it to be quite heartwarming.
