[Dailydrool] Eyeballing

I was so glad to read Bev's note on eyeballing. We haven't had to deal with
that in a while, but when the first generation was alive, my two girls were
always trying to kill each other. The first sign that war was going to
break out was eyeballing. I sometimes felt stupid for locking everyone away
because of just staring, but it was a lot easier on the nerves and
pocketbook to do it that way. It is stressful to have to clean up after a
fight that results in bloodshed and ripped flesh, not to mention expensive.
It really does work. Plus, I have found that sometimes everyone just needs
a little alone time and maybe a nap to improve their moods and tolerance
levels.

This is even true of the current crew. They don't spill blood often, but
they do nit pick at each other and it can get old. I stop that before it
turns into something serious. For the record, the old crew was all neutered
and spayed. The current crew is all neutered and spayed. While spaying and
neutering is not a bad idea unless you are a breeder, it is not a guarantee
that all your problems will be solved.
