Hi all,
The air licking scares me.
Hank has done this licking the air chomp thing and then bloats.  He has even
bloated after his stomach was tacked and ended up back in surgery for
foreign objects in his stomach.  This last time was leaves and a 3-4 inch
twig (intact).
I think, for Hank at least, that the air licking and more is a result of his
stomach hurting, so we are on a mission to find out why and what is causing
it.  First thing we have done is change his food, to a low fat food.  (Royal
Canin low fat gastro)  And we are feeding him snacks at midday and also
before bedtime, to keep something on his stomach.   
I have no idea if this is going to work,  time will only tell.  Hank does
not have another surgery in him, in his stomach, this last one was his
second and there is a lot of scar tissue already.   I pray it works and
would not ever have to choose the alternative if he needed another surgery.
